TRANSMISSION FLUIDS AUTOMATIC

It is my understanding that Dextron III is an acceptable alternative to pretty much every thing that came before it as far as older American Automatic Transmissions are concerned. I think that is one of the
reasons it was developed as there are fewer and fewer cars out there that need the "differences" between type II and type F and III will get the job done.
